Change the default search engine in your browser

Instead of changing your default search engine manually in the three most popular browsers, you can install a lightweight add-on, which will update the default search engine automatically.

Private search engine add-on for Firefox

To add Findx as the default search engine in Firefox:
1. Go to Mozilla add-on store and find findx.
2. Click the Add to Firefox button.
3. Click Install to start the installation. 4. Click OK to confirm. 5. Your browser will then ask you to restart

The official Findx Firefox add-on sets Findx as your default search engine, home page and new tab page.

To add Findx as the default search engine in Safari: 1. Download get.findx.com.
2. Got to Downloads and click the file findx.safariextz .
3. Click Approve to start the installation. 4. Now you have changed to Findx private search as default (The app is not officially approved by Apple, so you might see a warning)
